Whenever I try to click a link in my email using Windows Live Mail Desktop Beta, it freezes the program and doesn't open IE7 to the page. I can copy the shortcut from the link and do it that way. But otherwise, it freezes. Is this a bug?

When I click a link in an email in WLMDB, why does it freeze

I've had a problem like this in the past, with different programs. One of them was MSN Messenger 7.5. Clicking a link would simply freeze forever. Mozilla Firefox was my default browser at the time, I wouldn;t think that would matter. If it wanted it could just open IE6. I never did fix the problem, Windows Live Messenger fixed it.

Make IE7B2 the default browser. Control Panel | Add or Remove Programs | Set Program Access and Defaults

Nice, my WLMD or OS didn't freeze, but my links didn't work either. Problem solved by U, thanks (I didn't even know about that specific configuration pane).
